Qatar Airways’ Business Class herringbone seating arrangement is spacious and comfortable. There are 22 full flat bed seats in business class in a 1-2-1 configuration and a 17″ inflight entertainment screen. Last year Qatar Airways was awarded SKYTRAX Business Class of the Year 2013.

In Economy class there are 232 seats in a 3-3-3 layout though we prefer the 2-4-2 layout found in the Japan Airlines’ Boeing 787 Dreamliners.  Wi-Fi connectivity is offered on board. Qatar Airways’ Dreamliners are powered by General Electric GEnx.

Qatar continues to invest in new aircraft and new routes as well as move its hub to the new Hamad International Airport in Doha. It has nine Boeing 787 Dreamliners in its fleet and has 51 more on order. It currently operates 14 flights weekly between Singapore and Doha and recently celebrated a decade of operations in the island-state.

Qatar Airways was the Middle East launch customer for the Dreamliner.
